LEIBNIZ ON LAW AND POLITICS
CONVENORS: ADRIAN NITA, ALEXANDRU STEFANESCU
As a polymath, Leibniz ventured in different areas of intellectual excellence. Highly revered in metaphysics or mathematics, his work on law and the philosophy of law, as well as his political theory have proven not only valuable in themselves, but also a means to sublimate his ontological construct. This workshop will provide a look inside this possibility, taking into consideration the extent of Leibniz’s legal and political philosophy, as well as his direct involvement in diplomatic and political “gamesmanship”.

The workshop is organized under the patronage of the Leibniz Society of Romania. We welcome all submissions in both English and Romanian, with title and abstract, no later than May, 1st 2022.
