Social Events
Apart from the academic endeavor, we will provide a social programme, offering a unique cultural experience for all those who wish to know Romania better. Please find below a brief overview of the proposed events:

- International Music Concert: Sunday, July 3
- Excursions: Wednesday, July 6
- Classical Music Concert: Thursday, July 7
- Farewell Reception: Friday, July 8

All excursions will take place on Wednesday, July 6. Participants may choose one of the five options listed below.
1. A Carpathian Mountains Tour – option A: Peles Castle and Sinaia Monastery
Peles Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I.

2. A Carpathian Mountains Tour – option B: Bran Castle and Brasov City
The famous Bran Castle is a national monument and landmark in Romania. It is often referred to as the home of the title character in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

3. Medieval Romanian Palaces: Potlogi Domain and Mogosoaia Palace
Mogosoaia Palace was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brancoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brancovenesc style.
4. A Bucharest City Tour: The Palace of the Parliament and the National Village Museum
The Palace of the Parliament, also known as the People's House, is known for its ornate interior and impressive characteristics. It is the heaviest building in the world. The building was constructed almost entirely of materials of Romanian origin.
5. A Bucharest Old Town Tour: Sightseeing and traditional dinner
The Old Town has numerous historical places to visit, as well as shops and recreational areas.
